The DEPHOS software allows to draw vector maps using the Mapper programme, which can work in both 3D and 2D environment.
Difference of drawing in 2D environment consists in working on views selected and defined by the user, and not in 3D view. Using both 2D and 3D Mapper you can attach reference files which may be used for many purposes depending on needs, e.g. to update. All functions and applications described in the Mapper chapter work in the same manner in 2D Mapper.
The Mapper EDIT (2D Mapper) is a platform for new applications available only in the Mapper Edit. New applications will be created in the future, to be loaded in the Mapper Edit.
