Elaborating and updating a topographic map can be conducted directly on a stereo model by using the existing flat materials. To start working you just need a tuned stereo model where you can see more than on an orthophotomap, especially as regards height elements such as slopes, embankments or buildings height.
You can also control contour lines height or spot heights.
